The refractory ceramic fiber is used most to replace the asbestos. As the market used most is asbestos in high temperature insulation. So compared with the asbestos, the refractory ceramic fiber could be used in 1000℃ instead of 600℃ for asbestos. And the refractory ceramic fiber is very light when we used it in high temperature insulation. Normally we could save 2~4 times weight when we need to achieve the same high temperature insulation performance. The most important is that the asbestos could cause the cancer for the workers; it could cause lung cancer directly. But the refractory ceramic fiber will not.
